    Why do you write?

It's what I look forward to every day! I have to write a little something each day and I'm fueled by many things: the past, some memory that comes up and I have to go with or just a visual or a passing conversation that sparks something inside.

    Any favorite authors? Books?

    Flannery O'Connor
    Flann O'Brien
Confederacy of Dunces John Kennedy Toole
    David Sedaris
    Jennifer Egan
    Virginia Woolf
    Anne Sexton
    Djuna Barnes
    Emily Dickinson
    Rainer Maria Rilke
    Franz Kafka
    Zora Neale Hurston

    So many.....
