there’s nothing like kaffe in katmandu | http://kaffeinkatmandu.tumblr.com | you probably never went to katmandu, did you. katmandu is the place shipwrecked penguins | http://bit.ly/1000penguins | dream of. the kaffe is the place where our members hang out and post what they find what they channel what they make. the kaffe is an existentialist shangri-la. you find max ernst here, camus smoking, squint-eyed sartre, bukowski burping, forgotten dadaists and remembered revolutionaries. colette has a table here where she drinks with merit oppenheim. nietzsche hides out here: he secretly reads jane austen. the photos on the wall are bisexual. menu and interior are borrowed from the titanic. our members believe the world’s large enough to still many creative urges. urge begets expression – we do it daily, we don’t kill nobody, we like it meta and we do it online. power to the bards! kaffe up! bottoms down!
