Ajay, I always love to see your name on a message. Your stories are great, and even you messages are little works of art! Thanks for this little “poem.” I will cherish it.
Ajay, my friend, I really appreciate your comments on Moving On. I took off a year from practicing law to write this story. Okay, that is a slight exaggeration…but I was practicing law at a huge firm and working 80 hours and every second I wasn’t working I was feeling guilty about not working or feeling guilty about not writing a satisfying story about Milgram. Good times. I was happy to figure out that I needed to write a story about not being able to write a story. Thanks again, man, D
Thanks for the Robert B Parker word A.J. take a look at one of Parker’s Spenser novels; he was lot better at smooth threatening than my little imitation here.
Thank you for my first ever comment and fav on fictionaut, it was good to know somebody liked my work. :) I would have said something earlier but at the time I didn’t know how to tell who faved it.
Thank you Ajay… amazing to think there’s someone in Mumbai reading stuff I wrote on the Frankford. Let our imaginations bring us ever closer together… check out my blog for more writing http:www.jacobrussellsbarkingdog.blogspot.com
hey ajay, thanks for your comments, which are always to the point and uncover something that i had not considered!i also like your writing fed by burgeoning phantasy (a disease i share)…i am curious to hear more about yourself, your process etc. - perhaps during the festive season via the second tongue “introduce yourself” thread? cheers, mate
Thanks for the kind comments on “Cancer Arm” Ajay. My son is a cricket fanatic. He played during the years we lived in Australia and still follows it closely. Anyway, nice to meet you here.
thanks, Ajay, for commenting on my Ms. Adams piece. so glad you liked it. it’s actually part of a novel and related to my “What I’d Say” piece that I posted last week. Hope you get a chance to read that one. The novel is about a covert stutterer whose shrink tells him to “talk” to people and “say” the things he never said b/c of said stutter. d
Thanks so much, Ajay for commenting on my novel excerpt. Funnily enough, this morning I was listening to Springsteen’s “Independence Day.” Love that song and your reference to him vis a vis broken boys. d

Good to know! I’m comfortable with characters having a will of their own. Carl had backbone, and so naturally he asserted his will to have backbone ;)
