Group Description
This group is for those romantic souls who write stories or poems that never seem to find a niche. No! No! Not corny, not cliché ridden, flowery love sonnets, Lords and Masters of the Manor stories. There's lots of niches for them.
This group seeks those lovely slice of life interludes, strange obsessions for the local butcher, for the girl you see each morning on the train, those affections that go awry, an unexpected twist or awakening, full of all the idiosyncrasies of love in all its glory and madness, in any stage of life.
The best stories/poems will be selected for the 2011 River Poets Journal Special Edition titled "The Hopeless Romantic."
