Led an earlier life as a political activist,physician, psychiatrist, author, and house designer/builder/unlicensed architect. Present activities consist of playing alto sax, playing tennis, cooking every weekend,listening to my favorite jazz station while working (www.jazz24.org),and, with my wife, Judith, co-pubublishing The Permanent Press for the past 31 years, which puts out 12-14 titles annually of award winning quality fiction.
