About Me

I am so much more comfortable writing non-fiction than fiction. I think keeping everything linear and ordered is a way of life for most left-brainers like myself. Fiction, though, and poetry are Field Day. Leave me to that and I may never return.

My list of publications is rather short. I tend to read everything, write now and then, but submit little.

Why do you write?

New places, new people and their cultures. Nature. They all inspire me to write. I write to discover paths through the non-status quo.

Any favorite authors? Books?

Edith Wharton, John Steinbeck, Edgar Allen Poe, Andre Dubus, Silvia Plath
