Giovanni Gambino is the author of Prince of Omerta, Undercover Secrets, and Mulberry street to Rome B.C. He was born in the province of Palermo in Sicily and grew up in Torretta, located in a mountainous area overlooking Palermo. Thirty-seven years old, he is the youngest in the family. His family moved to Bensonhurst, a neighborhood in southwestern Brooklyn, in 1985. He grew up in the underworld as the son of Don Francesco "Ciccio" Gambino. Don Ciccio was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison in 1988 and passed January, 4th 2012 honorably in prison. Giovanni was raised and cared for by real men of honor.
