there should be a word:
for that feeling you get
when you want to connect
but you have nothing to talk about;
for that text you receive
that leaves you no route of response
so you leave it and hope they don't get mad;
for that photo you see
of your friends at parties
and you wish so hard that you were with them;
for that "Like" from nowhere
that takes you by surprise
and you are unsure how to proceed;
there should a word for living
out of sync with the twenty-first century.
