About Me

I'm a creative/visual thinker who occasionally writes to understand things differently. I used to be a film and television actor and for that reason I choose to use a pen name at times. I studied poetry at Antioch College, my mentor is Ed Frankel.

I've been published (dif. pen names )in print magazines in the 1980s. My most recent work appeared in Press One edited by Arlene Ang as Sian Allen.

I've acted in film, on stage, and currently write To the best of my knowledge I was the only woman ever to write an episode for the 1970’s TV show, Baretta, having submitted the script without my entire name on it. That episode, entitled “Just for Laughs,” starred the great Ray Bolger.

I have a close sister who writes (Meg Pokrass).

I am computerless (yes, I live like a zen monk but borrow others computers and that is ENOUGH TECHNOLOGY THANK YOU).

Why do you write?

i was ready to give up after retiring from acting and now writing is saving my spirit.
