    • About Me

    I am frustrated writer that fuels my passion by supporting others. I have yet to be published myself, but have not focused a lot of time in the last few years to getting published. I run the arts and culture site What to Wear During an Orange Alert where I interview writers and review books and chapbooks. I started Orange Alert Press in March 2008, and have published three books since then.

    Why do you write?

    For me it is the excitement of finding something new, learning something new, reaching out to people from around the world and learning more about them.

    Any favorite authors? Books?

    Going to back when my love for lit started it has always been Whitman, Emerson, Dylan Thomas, Ginsberg, and so on. Currently, I find new favorites all the time. I am a big fan of Howie Good, Micah Ling, Blake Butler, and a lot of young writers.
